Safety Precautions for Location Filming

As of 19 June 2020, media companies with specific SSIC codes have been allowed to resume business activities.

Here at Bert Pictures, the safety of our crew, actors, and our partners is of utmost importance. To secure the health and well-being of all our production partners, we have adopted a comprehensive set of safe filming practices in conjunction with the Mandatory Safety Guidelines published by the IMDA. We are also registered with IMDA for productions that require large crews of up to 50 personnel on location.

Other guidelines we operate under include:

  1. Strict adherence to all government and public health protocols and restrictions, including movement/social distancing restrictions.

  2. All crew, cast, and production partners must complete a declaration that outlines any travel activities throughout a four-week period prior to the shoot date, as well as any contact with persons who have a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19.

  3. Any personnel who have engaged in high-risk travel activities or contact with individuals with confirmed or suspected cases of COVID-19 within that four-week period will not be allowed to participate in the shoot.

  4. Any personnel who feels unwell prior to, or is deemed to have a fever or related symptoms during, the shoot, shall be replaced.

  5. Where feasible, we will use our QTAKE system or similar remote viewing solution to allow for safe distancing on set.

  6. Only authorised personnel who are named on the callsheet will be allowed access to set.

  7. All authorised personnel must undergo temperature checks twice a day: once before accessing the set, and once more midway through the shoot. Anyone with a high temperature will not be allowed access to set.

  8. Masks, gloves, and sanitisers will be made available to all personnel on location and all crew will be required to wear masks throughout the filming process.

  9. All contact surfaces will be disinfected regularly with HSA & NEA approved disinfectants that are food contact approved, biodegradable, and child friendly.

  10. Thorough disinfection will be conducted at the end of each filming day.
